Gardens at Versailles
To say that the gardens at Versailles are massive would be an understatement. They are hectares worth of massive. They are expansive and there is a canal for a boat ride. There is a garden train that takes you to Marie Antoinette’s cottage because it takes that long to get there.
I could spend all day here. I couldn’t, as I was travelling with a young child, but I recommend walking it and taking the time to get a true sense of the grandeur. It’s stunning.
