Surprising myself, most of all: I’ve been able to continue breastfeeding Kellan, 9 months and counting! With Lucia, I went back into an office after my maternity leave and pumped at increasingly irregular hours due to a steady flow of meetings and guilt-laden stares by my then-manager (I wrote a little about that experience here ).
