Kenya safari – what to expect & what to pack (part 1)

I don’t know how I’m going to encapsulate our Kenya safari trip but since I’ve started writing one thing’s become clear – even though it was only a week it’s going to take two posts! I talked about some of the lessons learned in last Friday’s post and I have some absolutely stunning photos because Mal was in his element. But I have to face the fact that scenic pics, however beautiful, are boring for anyone who wasn’t there. And anyway what I want to give you is a feel for the experience which is so much more than just what you see. So I’m going to try to bring you as close to it as I can in places as well...
