Fun fact: in Vietnamese schools, we don’t really use blackboards anymore, it’s mostly green. Apparently, it’s better for your eyes. Anyway, it’s the exact same shade as my shirt, so it inspired me to put together a schoolroom outfit of sorts – the green shirt and the apple brooch are self-explanatory, and the gingham skirt also feels schoolroom-y to me too. I don’t know why, it just makes sense to me. Maybe because there is always gingham or plaid in those A-B-C books?
