Washington DC, le Congrès et la Library of Congress ❤️
Nous sommes à Washington! Commençons avec le Washington Monument, le symbole de Washington, la grande obélisque érigée en 1885 en homage à George Washington, le premier président, et qui fut le plus haut édifice au monde jusqu’à la construction de la Tour Eiffel en 1889. Nous avons aussi découvert le Congrès et la Library of Congress. La Library of Congress est un petit joyau. Le Congrès avait brûlé en partie en 1814 pendant la guerre anglo-américaine!
