We made it back from Newport Beach last night to two dogs that really missed us and vice versa! My husband and I have become “those” people who don’t like leaving our dogs and are very particular about who we let keep them. They are like our children, and whoever keeps them has to send us pictures when we are away! I told you! Anyway, Pelican Hill Resort was fantastic and, honestly, the best place to stay for taking a breather. We spent a lot of time in the room in front of the fireplace doing nothing!
