Poles Practice on the SDW
Good morning and happy Monday to you! I hope the weekend was fun and relaxing. I completed my 375th parkrun on Saturday then we took F along to a new-to-us gaming cafe in town whilst E stayed home to have a much needed lie in and do homework. Tea and coffee is £1 for parkrunners, the hot chocolate was good and we had a hard time tearing F away from the air hockey table! On Sunday we were out the door at 7am for the hour long drive to Harting Down on the South Downs Way to practice running / hiking with our new poles. A Christmas present to ourselves / each other. We ran a smidge shy of 16 miles with 2500 feet of elevation in 3 hours and oh boy, my legs...
