The Thrifty Six are Wearing Metallics
The metallics trend emerged in autumn with silver trousers being everywhere on social media. I was tempted to dive in and get some, but I doubted I’d get enough wear out of them. In any case, I’m more drawn to warm metallic hues, particularly gold. I bought this vintage 1950s jacket on eBay ages ago but I’ve never worn it until now. It’s more dressy than it looked in the photos, and so I put it away and kind of forgot about it. I did a quick search through the archives and couldn’t find a previous post on wearing metallics… It was my turn to set the prompt for this month’s Thrifty Six post and I was really stuck for inspiration;...
