Spring Sewing Progress Check-In #1 – Cutting + Prepping
This week I started working on my first round of spring sewing! I batch prepped and cut five projects so I can sew when I have time and enjoy the process without pressure. I always begin by reviewing my mood board, finalizing my patterns, and laundering all the fabrics. Once everything is pressed and prepped, I cut out my pieces and organize them into projects on my rolling cart.
Before I sit down to sew, I like to make sure everything is set up for success. That means:
Choosing patterns and fabric that work with my color palette and match the vibe of my mood boards
