White trousers with a bright blue top and pearls
The statue is the depiction of a Dutch children’s song about the son of a count living in The Hague. He is pointing to where his father lives and I am doing the same. The outfit for this week is a combination of my wide white trousers with a bright blue top (or shirt if you will).
Because the top is shorter than most of my shirts and tops, I thought that I could just let it hang with no need to tuck it in. In hindsight I am not so sure. Tucking a shirt in at the front looks good on me, but actually only with mid-rise trousers. If they are high-waisted then a tucked-in shirt often highlights my short upper body.
