I didn’t set out to dress in red, white, and blue for the Fourth of July, but here we are. Given what’s going on in the US right now, all I can say is that I hope my US friends have a good day and that things get better for you guys. Anyway, this tunic is originally an áo dài (the traditional dress of Vietnam), which you’re supposed to wear with culottes, but there are some “modernized” versions that can be worn with short skirts or straight-leg trousers and jeans.
