The silhouette of this outfit feels rather 1930s to me, with the wide-leg trousers and the top, so I thought about wearing my black-and-white brooch with it for a complete Art Deco look, but it didn’t go together for some reason, so I went with my iris brooch instead. I guess the Art Deco vibe of the outfit (especially in the asymmetrical pleats of the top and the strong lines of the heels) needs the softness of the Art Nouveau brooch to balance it out.
