From blog 14 Shades Of Grey

1940s Casual

This outfit was inspired by those 1940s casual looks with the wide-legged trousers and simple blouses, but I decided to add some interest with my color palette – pale pink and forest green are such an unexpected but classic combo – and my tie as well. I knew I’d wanted to wear this tie (it’s a new-to-me piece), but it took me a long time to find the green trousers to match it. I have another pair of a softer green color that matches the tie perfectly, but because the shades are so similar, the two pieces kind of fought each other for attention when put together. This darker pair works much better.
