Everything in this outfit – except for the brooch – is a hand-me-down from my sister. Although we share a lot of the same tastes in fashion, you can almost always tell which piece used to be my sister’s – my stuff would have cleaner lines, collars, buttons, and masculine details like stripes, pockets, etc. whereas my sister’s, especially her tops, would usually have looser silhouettes, round or V-necks, and more feminine details like laces and bows.
