SIA Inspiration: Andre Derain
Welcome to another week of SIA! This week, it’s Marsha’s turn to host, and here is her pick:
This is The Turning Road by French artist Andre Derain . Marsha picked it because he was a Fauvist, and she wanted to try different art styles for SIA. I have to admit, I don’t know much about Fauvism myself, except for some passing familiarity with the works of Henri Matisse, but I’m excited to experiment with this. It’s very colorful, so I don’t know where I’d begin though… Anyway, remember to send your outfit photos to Marsha by Tuesday, November 18th. Have fun!
