The Circus
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Zelda Fitzgerald’s “ Puppeufee, or The Circus “. For this one, I just picked out all the elements that jumped out at me – red stripes, pink, gray, black, some sort of patterns – and used them to build the outfit. The result is a little all over the place, but it does reflect the painting pretty well, even if I do say so myself. I also added my Pierrot (or is it Pulcinella? I can never tell them apart) brooch for the “circus” element (even though Pierrot/Pulcinella are commedia d’ellarte characters, not circus performers). I’m happy with how my outfit...
