Tropical Winter
What to do when it’s cold but sunny out, and you have an outdoor event to dress up for? You wear a summery dress and layer a sweater on top of it, of course! I was having a bit of fun with this outfit – there are coconut palms on the hem of my dress, so it gives off a tropical vibe, but the weight of the fabric and the color make it more suitable for spring/fall, so I wore it with a sweater and added a nod to the tropical touch with my whale brooch. Nobody noticed it or put it together, of course, but I knew, and that was the fun part!
