Book Reviews: January 2026
January is a busy month, and I only managed 3 books. They’re pretty eclectic, and the same goes for my responses to them, so here goes:
It All Adds Up by Mickael Launay:
I’ve neglected my non-fiction books last year, so I decided to start this year with a non-fiction book about the history of maths. Despite the subject, the way it’s written is very accessible, and it gives a good overview of the development of several mathematical disciplines, from geometry to algebra to trigonometry, and their application, throughout history.
