Pumpkin Spice
It feels a bit odd to wear such an autumnal color in spring, but in my defense, it’s still pretty cold around here. Plus, I just bought these (new to me) saddle shoes – saddle shoes are usually black and white, but these have the unusual combo of cognac brown and gray, so I leaned into the cognac part and built my entire outfit around that. I had half a mind to be cheeky and accessorize with my orange pin, but in the end, I went with a pop of color with my rooster brooch. There are some green and blue in the plaid of my trousers, so it’s not entirely incongruous either.
