It’s Time For Halloween!
We interrupt the road trip posts to bring you a look at the home all decorated for Halloween! To be perfectly honest, this year was the hardest yet. While I love Halloween, it is impossible to separate the holiday from death, and I am still reeling from the loss of my mom . I also left the Anaheim Fall Festival , which was a very difficult, but necessary choice. However I am looking forward to attending the event without the madness of having to help organize it.
As a result of my mom’s passing, I did inherit a few Halloween decorations, mostly Peanuts pieces, and they added a bit more warmth and whimsy rather than spooky and scary. Other new additions include...
