Welcome to another week of SIA! This week, it’s my turn to host, and here’s my pick:
This is “ A Bird in the Hand ” by contemporary British artist Lizzie Riches , who takes inspiration from the natural world to create Renaissance-esque portraits and still lifes with a modern twist. Since we’re in the middle of autumn right now (though it certainly doesn’t feel like that here!), I thought this would be an appropriate choice.
