Week in Review #67: Goodbye 30s
This week I entered into a new decade of life, saying goodbye to my 30s and hello to 40. This age always seemed so far away, and yet now it’s here! Of course I don’t feel any different, it’s really just another day on the calendar and an annual marker of time passing, but it does feel a bit strange to now be “in my 40s.” Mostly, I’m grateful. I lost one my my close friends a few years ago right before her 40th birthday, and admittedly it feels weird to now be older than she ever got to be.
