Count me among the people who firmly believe in the philosophy behind this famous Audrey Hepburn quote: Paris is always a good idea. I've visited the City of Lights too many times to count—starting as a 13-year-old foreign exchange student and most recently in April of this year—but when I got an opportunity to join my partner on his work trip in early October, of course I took it.
