Sacro Monte di Orta
Of the many scenic walks B and I took around Lake Orta, one of our favorites was a hike up to Sacro Monte di Orta to view a complex of 20 of chapels dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi. Absolutely stunning experience as you might have guessed.
