Le Carrousel de l’Hôtel-de-Ville

I've loved carousels since I was a little girl. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's the bright colours and the glittery lights and the way they all blur together when it spins that captures my heart. Even now, I'm totally unable to refuse a ride when I stumble upon a carousel - it really makes no difference if I'm the only rider over six, and I pretty much always am. I walk past the Carrousel de l’Hôtel-de-Ville every week when I'm out and it brings a smile to my face every time. I think it's small pleasures like that that really make life wonderful... for me, it's carousels, tutus, glitter, adorable baby animals {especially if they're chubby} and lemon tarts...
