THE CIRCUS OF FASHION.
Suzy Menkes wrote a very “interesting” article about bloggers and fashion week. Though my first reaction was rage, after re-reading the article, i came with the conclusion that she made some really great points. The “circus” outside the shows, be it Lincoln Center or the Tuileries has indeed become an event of itself bigger than what has been going on inside the tents. Is this a bad thing? Can you blame the photographers for going crazy when the Russian Mafia (Miroslava Duma, Elena Perminova Ulyana Sergeenko) in their perfectly coordinated outfits & Chanel Boys, struts their way into the shows?
