Overflowing river
Well I wasn't kidding last week when I said we were getting rain! Grand Rapids has been lining the bridges with sandbags, parking trains on the railroad tracks that cross the river (to keep them down) and closing many of the bridges along the Grand River. Every time we drive by it, I'm totally gawking at how high the water level is. It's so crazy. Last year we were in a drought, and this year we have this! Eric and I went down to Sixth Street Park today to check out the river. So many people were out doing the same exact thing. So so nuts. This past weekend was a good one.
