21-in-2012: purple print maxi dress
This weekend I crossed another item off my 21 in 2012 list with this printed maxi dress. I'm not sure whether to think of this print as cool-toned camouflage or abstract brush strokes, but either way I'm crazy about it. This color palette- eggplant purple, dusty rose, olive green and violet-blue- is one I'm always drawn to (I think because it compliments my skin tone and hair color, maybe) and it suited the cold weather perfectly today. Over the next few seasons I plan to style this dress with flats, hats, belts and vests but today I went cozy and warm with a long cardigan and boots, perfect for gloomy skies and a day spent mostly indoors.
