After spending several history-tastic days in Florence, we took the Eurostar to Venice, where we arrived at our hotel via water taxi... Eek. I watched my suitcase like a hawk... I swear it was less than an inch from bouncing overboard. Thankfully, the insanely spectacular views were the perfect distraction.
After settling into our hotel we took a charming gondola ride through the canals. Our ride was accompanied by an accordion player and a fabulous singer, who made the ride absolutely surreal and truly unforgettable.
