30 in 30 by 30: Pear Picking
This is the nineteenth in my 30 in 30 by 30 series, wherein I undertake 30 adventures in 30 days before I turn 30 years old on Aug. 6. Friday, I plucked a pair of pears from a pretty perennial. plucky My awesome best friend Callie is housesitting for a friend and this friend just happens to have a small orchard on her property. Why not hop around the grounds while guzzling wine with one of my favorite people on a Friday night? nice pear wine and dine So the pears were hard and tart. So are we.
