Together or Separate?
What I Wore:

Necklace: Target - $7
Sometimes, when I wear outfits that have obvious pattern mixing qualities, people often mistake the separates as a dress. I can't tell if they're more or less confused when I tell them it's actually a skirt and top -- I'm not a psychiatrist (or very good at deciphering facial expressions sometimes), but it seems as though they are surprised that I would pair separate pieces like this. It's okay if it's a dress that purposefully combined them, but why on earth would I pair...
