A DAY AT THE ZOO
Philip and I are both major travel lovers, but when we moved to California we chose to forgo a lot of our travel so we could live super close to the beach. The good news is that Southern California has so much to offer within driving distance, so we're making a big effort to take advantage of all these fun places with little staycations -- we still get to go places, but we save a lot on plane tickets!
So last weekend Philip took Friday off, we woke up early Friday morning, packed the kids up in the car and drove down to San Diego for the weekend. We spent all day Friday at the zoo, then played in the pool and hung out at our condo on Saturday, went to church on Sunday...
