Goodwill Score: A Comfy Plaid Dress
Have I mentioned I don't currently have a job? So Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other thrift shops have become especially important to me, when I need just a little retail therapy. Plus, my clothing needs have changed. I only wear clothes and shoes that let me move, move, move, as I navigate some major life changes.
It's all about casual comfort these days - and maybe a little more freedom to express my personal style than I had in an office. I worked 9 to 5 for almost 30 years. It feels very strange not to be searching for appropriate office wear every morning.
