Am I in a whirl with time or what?! A couple of weeks ago – um, maybe? – it doesn't feel that long – John and I went on a drive, in search of the perfect swimming spot for this summer. The beach is a pretty long drive for us, and we wanted something more like a watering hole. I had a dream quite a few months ago that we were walking through a forest with some friends, along this tiny little path that we knew really well, and then the trees cleared and the most amazing lake stretched out in front of us, silver and shimmery and beautiful.
