Kimono Dress
Dress - DIY'd from vintageHarness - Audra Jean Flats - Frye, ebayPink Linen Jacket - DKNY jeans, thriftedWooo! I did it. I managed to turn my vintage kimono into a wearable, actual, factual dress. Many swear words and hours of work transformed! It's not perfect, but I love it just the same. I styled it up with my brown harness, in lieu of an obi, and matching brown Frye flats. I also took a page out of the pastel-fabulous runways for spring and paired my pink jacket for the cold classroom.The sleeves are definitely my favorite part. I've still got some piece of lining left that I'm trying to make into a shift blouse... but right now I'm 0-2 on attempts. Time to go rip...
