The new year has arrived, the time when we all feel like we have a clean slate and the ability to make this year exactly as we want it to be. While I can think of a lot of things I would like to change or improve upon, rather than a laundry list of resolutions, I have decided to just go with one: ask for what I want. I had heard someone else talking about this concept months ago, and it really started to sink in. I realized how rarely I actually step up and tell someone exactly what it is I want.
