ODE TO THE FLORAL TRENCH

I never had much use for a trench coat until I moved to California. In Utah, it was either too cold or too hot for a trench, so my one simple black one was always delegated to the back of the closet. But here in SoCal, where it's 75 degrees on Christmas day, and the evenings drop down to a temperate 50 degrees, a trench coat seems to be just right. But let's be honest here...even if it was below freezing, I would still wear this trench coat every day of the week. Either that, or just lovingly hold it and stare at it.
