Sometimes the best looks are the most basic of pairings - classic pieces in a mix of neutrals hues, though simple, is a no-fail combination. This outfit is yet another remix of pieces I already owned - I can't count the amount of times I have repurposed both this vintage collar (examples here & here ) and these bordeaux booties (seen here , here , here & here ). And a swingy cape is such a fun piece of outerwear to wear over casual staples + it works particularly well on days when the weather doesn't require a serious coat or piled-on layers.
