There's something about crochet dresses in shades of white that just gets me. This one, which Amelia from New Old Fashion Vintage kindly sent to me, is a sweet and girly change of pace from what I've been gravitating towards lately. I'm in that end of winter funk that only summer-weight fabrics and light colors can cure. Amelia even knew a bit of this dress' history, it was previously owned by a woman named Lillian who worked retail in the 50s and 60s. Its not often I get to hear the stories behind the vintage clothes in my closet, but when I do, it makes me appreciate them even more.
