Beanies and Boots
Second to all-black-everything, grays and navy blues are my favorite go-to's during the oh, so drab, winter months. A little gray can break up any otherwise monotonous look, but I especially love playing around with gritty textures, for the ultimate winter-esque ensemble. Something to the tune of grey tweeds and heavy mohairs, this has been a uniform of mine for this seemingly never-ending New York City Winter. On another note, beanies are quite literally a lifesaver. I've accidentally left them in taxis (along with leather gloves, always, leaving my gloves!), and have gone so far as to borrow steal about ten from my teenage sister. Another tactic to create...
