 Masala Chai and PrintingFew days ago I had a chance to attend traditional Korean tea ceremony  (다도),    held specially for foreigners, who live here. The recipe of Korean traditional tea goes to old Indian  Masala Chai , the difference is in the number of species added. The base tea is usually a strong black tea so that the species and sweetener don't overpower it: brown sugar, salt, ground ginger, milk and bay leaf. The amount of species depends on a person - prepared tea was a little bit bitter for me so I treated myself with traditional cookies: rice balls and cherry tomatoes (yes, Koreans consider them a fruit and even decorate cream cakes with tomatoes).
