Thoughtful Thursday: Spending quality time with each child
One of the things (of so many!) I had to really learn to manage was finding that quality time with each of my kids. We got to give Jayden complete attention for 4 years and 4 months before the twins were born. We found our routine with our little family of 3 and it just worked. Jayden and I found one thing we both liked to do: bake cookies together. It was our mommy and son thing. B wanted nothing to do with it, he just wanted to eat the cookies after we were done. LOL I still remember, and getting teary-eyed now, the first time we baked cookies together after my long hospital stay. He was so excited!
