Paris, France: The Second Day
The second day in Paris was all about the Eiffel Tower. Even though I had seen it the day before, today we got to see it up close. The morning began with a driven tour around Paris. We saw the Arch de Triumph and learned about its history. We also drove though various neighborhood learning about their history and back story. At the end of the tour, we stopped at a square that overlooks the Eiffel Tower, and we were able to spend some time taking pictures. It was an overcast morning, but eventually the fog cleared and we could see all the way to the stop. It was a beautiful view. It's still like a dream that here I am standing in front of a monument...
