When getting dressed for the office the first that comes to mind might not be a sheer blouse or shirt but you can make sheer appropriate for the office.
The first thing that you need to consider when wearing a sheer blouse is the undershirt. When selecting an undershirt find a color that is close to the color of the sheer blouse.
For example, I recently shared an outfit where I wore a sheer fuchsia blouse and the undershirt was a matching fuschia tank top. I did the same thing with this look. The tank top under the sheer blouse is white to match the white sheer color of the blouse.
