On Being Underdressed

So, my friend and I joined this charitable organization that has social elements.. to me it's basically like an adult sorority. We went to our first meeting a few weeks ago and I rushed home from work to change..I kept the top of my outfit business-ish while the bottom was definitely casual. This was a mistake - literally everyone else at the meeting was dressed to the 9's - looked like they were going to a semi-formal event, or at least came straight from work.
