Christmas in Florida
Hello from sunny Florida! Actually, where we are (right outside of Sarasota) hasn’t been sunny much at all this week. Sunny or not, I definitely can’t complain! The temperature has hovered right around 70 degrees, which has allowed for morning coffee by the pool, eating all meals al fresco, long walks around the neighborhood, and plenty of time relaxing on the back patio (in a sweater).
The first full day I was in Florida was actually the hottest. My grandfather and I drove up to Tampa to pick up my parents from the airport. On the way, we stopped at Hyde Park Village to do a little last minute Christmas shopping.
