When you are in Paris, you should definitely visit Le Marais district. It really is magical with its thousands of cafés and crêperies. As a sweets´ maniac I preferred sweet crêpes, but the salty ones were really delicious too.
If you want to try macarons that are said to be the best in the world, find Ladurée in the heart of Champs Elysées. Daily, they sell 12,000 macaroons but also offer other super tasty pastries.
Beautiful view of Paris is from Arc de Triomphe or the top of Galerie Lafayette...
