Best time to visit: All year Currency: Euros Language: German Getting around: bus,metro,on foot Searching for a nearby destination to celebrate my birthday, I ended up in Munich because I had already visited most of the cities nearby,most of Italy, Austria, Hungary and in general the countries that had a maximum of 2 hours flight time from Athens. The flight we chose was a Friday afternoon one,so we would return Sunday night and have 2 full days in Munich. Arriving in Munich, we headed from the airport terminal 2 to the opposite building from the main, where the train and subway are situated, where you get your ticket.
