Best time to visit: All year Currency: Euros Language: German Getting around: bus,metro,on foot Searching for a nearby destination to celebrate my birthday, I ended up in Munich because I had already visited most of the cities nearby,most of Italy, Austria, Hungary and in general the countries that had a maximum of 2 hours flight time from Athens. The flight we chose was a Friday afternoon one,so we would return Sunday night and have 2 full days in Munich.
