Red Stripe & Checked Wool

Unintentionally, this has apparently become Stripes Week on respect the shoes - even though I really wore this outfit last week. I'm probably like most of you ladies, though, and have enough stripes in my closet to last several several several days weeks of non-repetitive wear. I'm not even sure what it is about stripes that make me adore them so much. I guess because stripes are a pattern - but a pretty simple subtle one, so they can kind of worn like a neutral? Did that make no sense ... Because they are kind of crisp and preppy and pleasing to the eye? That's why to me they are superior to dots or most other patterns ... ? Oh I don't really know, I...
